Window Shelf

This is a great solution when you have breakable collectibles to display, and curious children who love to touch the pretties.  All you need is a sturdy board and brackets.  Cut the board slightly longer than the window.  Paint or stain the board if desired.  Screw the brackets to the shelf, and then screw the shelf to the window trim.  If there is no sturdy trim around the window, you will need to install wall anchors.  Now you can display your favorite porcelain, glass and ceramic items, and they will be safely out of the reach of small children.
